Our Ministries

Best Yet Set

Our "Best Yet Set" Ministry is an opportunity for those in our church and their friends who are 50 years and older to gather for together to enjoy fellowship, encouragement, and ministry service in and out of the Church. These gathering are occasional in nature. Here are some examples:

•  Service Project at Lincoln Village Ministries
•  Outing to the Weeden House Museum and Garden in Huntsville
•  Dinner Gatherings around town
•  Serving our children's ministry at an Ice Cream Social

Because of our faith in the Lord - trusting Him in all things - the best really is, yet to come!

Children's Ministries

We have numerous ways we minister to children and serve their families.  There are several opportunities throughout the year, including:

Nursery is provided during the Sunday School hour (beginning at 9:30am) and during our Morning Worship Service (10:45am) for infants through 4 years old.

During the School Year
Weekly Sunday School classes for all ages of children, broken down into a variety of age groupings.  Sunday School is at 9:30am and meets most every Sunday through the School Year. We take a break in the Summer from our normal Sunday School Classes, but have other educational and fun times for our children.  Sunday School Classes take place throughout the Church, depending on age - we'd be glad to have our guests join us for Sunday School.

Children's Worship: a special time of worship and engagement at an age appropriate level for children ages 4-1st grade.  This takes place during the latter part of our Morning Worship Service, with children and leaders being dismissed just prior to the Sermon.

Kid's Night Out meets on the second or third Friday night of every month during the School Year (except December & May) from 6-8pm.  This a Vacation Bible School themed fun evening for children aged 4 through 5th grade.  We have pizza dinner, a time of worship and learning, crafts, games, and snacks.

During the Summer
Summer Fun Wednesdays: casual and fun gatherings for elementary school aged children (and their parents/guardians) to get together for some fun times throughout the Summer.  This might include a trip to a local park or a pool party.

Catechism Clubs: While we do not have our regular Sunday School Classes meeting during the Summer, the Summer still gives children an opportunity to grow in faith and understanding.  Much like Children's Worship, but for a larger age range, children are dismissed during the latter part of the Morning Worship Service to learn and grow.

Youth Ministry

Our Youth Group (for all students in 7th-12 grade) meets regularly on Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30am at North Hills Church. Ministry Intern, Wesley Spears, leads this ministry.  The youth group also participates in Church events, special service projects, and fun events throughout the year.

Preschool & Daycare Ministry

Our Preschool and After School Ministry (North Hills Early Childhood Center) serves our community by instilling children with a love for God and for learning that lasts a lifetime.
